If you own a private home or a live in an HOA in Park City, it’s important to follow the necessary steps in order to maximize the lifespan and minimize the stress on your home during the warmer season. Consider the following as the winter comes to a close and spring begins.
– Asphalt driveway and roads check for pot holes and crack sealing. Turn off any snow melt boilers.
– Turn off your heating boilers in June and turn on your AC. Check your condenser and condensate line for leaks and clogs. Inspect for leak and recharge if necessary.
– Have your hot water systems and pumps inspected.
– Turn off your heat tape in late April and inspect your gutters for needed repairs.
– Have your roof inspected for any areas that may have had leaks.
– Inspect your exterior for painting and stain.
– Change all your smoke detector batteries.
– Set up your tree pest control and lawn fertilization.
– Be prepared to have your irrigation system turned on in June and all spring cleanup completed.
– Power wash all entries, sidewalks, and decks, especially if there is snow melt salt.
– Spring is a good time to drain your pool and hot tubs and have a complete cleaning done.
